Abacus Science Kit - Newton meets AI (Year 10, Physical Science)

Support the delivery of the Science Connections^® teaching sequence for Year 10 (Physical Science) – Newton Meets AI, aligned with the secondary science (Australian Curriculum Version 9). This comprehensive science kit includes most of the materials needed to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that explore how Newton's law of motion is used to design safe autonomous vehicles.

Student-Centred Science Learning

Through interactive investigations and practical activities, children collect data to explore the relationship between speed, distance, and time including effects of factors such as mass and weight.

Students can apply their understanding by designing features of a safe autonomous car.

Students can work individually, in groups, or as a class to discuss their investigations, evaluate their findings, and reflect on their learning. This student-centred approach promotes scientific inquiry, collaboration, and deeper understanding.
