Every child is unique and we know that no two children learn the same way. For over 38 years, we've used our world of educational resources (Maths, Literacy and Science) to provide teachers with the tools to become the architects of each child's individual education journey.

The teacher is the most important person in the classroom - inspiring, cultivating, and stimulating learning. We understand that teachers are extremely busy and there is a lot to be done to educate young minds. That is why we design a huge range of comphrehensive kits to save teachers valuable time of creating lesson plans and activities. With each kit, you can supply students with the materials they need to engage with key topics, either through individual investigation or with fun and collaborative classroom activities.

Abacus Education is based in Perth, Western Australia but our delivery network extends across the country. We recognise the importance of science education in children. That's why with substantial commitment to research and development, Abacus Education has carefully created the version 9 Abacus Science Kits. The kits include a range of resources needed to carry out the Primary Connections® teaching sequences for Australian Curriculum Science Version 9.

Primary Connections^® focuses on developing students’ understanding and knowledge with a practical student-centred approach whereby students are encouraged to observe, explore, engage, investigate, critically think, discuss, and analyse their findings. To support this student-centred learning approach and to save teachers time, we have designed the version 9 Abacus Science Kits for specific science strands and year levels (Foundation to Year 6). These class kits are supplied in a sturdy Gratnells tray with lid for neat storage.

Dr Paul Swan is an award-winning author supporting teachers all over Australia with clever hands-on resources to teach maths in an interesting and engaging way.

Abacus Education stocks a wide range of maths resources from Dr Paul Swan - books, games, and more. His books and games make it easy to bring your classroom to life with fun games to facilitate learning and group discussion. Packed with fun and engaging activities, these books utilise common classroom resources (dice, cards, dominoes) to help teach important maths concepts.

We have worked together with Dr Paul Swan to tailor and develop Maths Classroom Kits.

Every resource included in these thoroughly researched kits can be used to implement the associated Australian Curriculum link. No matter which year group you are teaching this range will have you covered. Specific kits have been developed for each year group from Kindy up to Year 6. Each successive kit builds upon the topics taught in the previous one, providing a logical and clear learning pathway.
