Push & Pull Spring Scales - Set of 6

Push and pull spring scales are used to measure both weight and the force of an object. This set of six spring scales each have a different capacity for you to demonstrate the concept: 250g, 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 3kg, and 5kg.

Easy-to-Use

Scales have a multitude of uses in the classroom. Spring scales are particularly helpful for introducing children to a different method of weighing that they might not have seen before. Weight measurement, and the identification of different units, is a key area of the Australian Curriculum. 

The push and pull spring scales allow students to measure both weight and force in a simple, visual way. Different capacities are included for demonstrating different measurement concepts. Each spring scale is calibrated in both grams and Newtons, making them ideal for teaching mass, force, and scientific measurement concepts. The clear flat surface can be customised using a dry-wipe marker to create your own scales or learning activities.

The integrated hook allows objects for weighing classroom items or weights. Alternatively, you can use the drawstring bag to to place classroom items or weights. You can purchase the Metric Weight Set or the Stacking Weights Class Set separately.
