The Mini Weight Kit is ideal for introducing students to units and measuring tools, with which they can practise learning new concepts or test understanding.
Ideal for primary school maths and science activities, this all-in-one measurement kit includes spring scales, stacking weights, a bucket balance, and a digital scale for engaging educational demonstrations and experiments.

Push & Pull Spring Scales
The included push and pull spring scales allow students to measure both weight and force in a simple, visual way. Two capacities are included for demonstrating different measurement concepts: 250g Spring Scale (Blue) and 1kg Spring Scale (Brown).
Each spring scale is calibrated in both grams and Newtons, making them ideal for teaching mass, force, and scientific measurement concepts. The clear flat surface can be customised using a dry-wipe marker to create your own scales or learning activities.
The integrated hook allows objects or the included drawstring bag to be attached for weighing classroom items and stacking weights.
Stacking weights
Stacking weights can be applied to a wide variety of activities to help children gain an understanding of the relative weights, using language like ‘lighter than’ or ‘heavier than’ when comparing pieces. The weights are colour coded for quick and easy identification and sorting: 1g (Yellow), 5g (Orange), 10g (Purple), and 20g (Pink).
Primary Bucket Balance
The bucket balance is an useful way of teaching early measurement ideas with informal units, with topics like volume and weight being particularly relevant. The buckets being transparent allows for children to clearly see what objects or liquids are held in both sides, whilst pour spouts ensure easy dispensing of liquids after use. Additionally, the fitted lids can double up as weighing platforms.
Digital Scale
The Digital Scale provides accurate and easy-to-read measurements, helping students compare and calculate the weight of different classroom objects. This is straightforward for students to use, with a screen that reads the number of either grams or ounces going up to 3kg/ 6.5 lb.
Above the screen are two buttons: one for switching the scale on/off and TARE. The other for changing the measurement units from kg to lb.
Storage Box
All components are stored neatly inside a durable Gratnells tray with lid, helping keep classroom resources organised and protected. Made from strong plastic, the tray is designed for long-lasting classroom use.
