The motor can be used to demonstrate various physics concepts, or as a replacement for faulty components in various mechanical devices. 

Hands-on Learning

These motors are recommended to use with pulleys and motor mount clips which can be purchased separately. When used with pulleys, students can observe and learn in real time how pulley can transfer the rotational force to other objects.

One way to use the motor is to connect it to alligator clips with leads and battery holder with batteries. Observe and discuss why it rotates. Try adding some paper or card propellers to the motor or a piece of string tied around the pulley for a better visual of the motor running.

Use in conjunction with our battery holders (for AA, C and D batteries) to safely demonstrate how force, magnets, and electricity work together.
