Multicoloured, high-intensity LEDs are a great way to show how light works within a classroom context.
The varying colours of the lights can pique your students’ interest, whilst you teach them the mechanics of light. When you wire them into a circuit, they will light up to the specified colour.
Mini-light shows and more
Using the red, green, and yellow lights, teach students the basics of reading traffic lights. Use the lights in any game/activity that requires students to choose between four options. For example, yellow could indicate ‘A’, red could indicate ‘B’ and so on. Let students have fun creating their own mini-light show.
