MAB units form the singular (‘one place’) component of base ten blocks, a system of mathematical manipulatives that enable students to learn concepts of arithmetic, place value, number sense and counting.

The product includes 500 individual MAB units, ideal for sharing between the class for individual and group work.

The blocks are made from a smooth wood, soft to the touch and perfect for the classroom environment.
Used singularly, the units can be applied to teach counting, addition, subtraction, percentages and more. When used in conjunction with MAB longs, flats and cubes, these MAB units are a key component of engaging base ten block assessments.
