This kit comes with the Pocket Dice book by Dr Paul Swan, detailing activities designed for the foundation through to the year 2 Australian curriculum. The book includes related templates to be cut out and inserted into the dice pockets and can be followed either individually or in pairs.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions can be practised when using number cards, however, this cube can also be used for learning literacy-related maths subjects such as statistics, algebra, sequencing, and more. With this equipment, the possibilities are endless! 

Depending on the age and development of the child, pocket dice offer flexibility around different children’s learning styles. For example, you can make an easy, average, and difficult card for the same subject, so that students can progress at their own pace. In a group, students can write up different maths problems on each side of the dice, and then make a competition over who can roll the dice and answer all the sums fastest.
