Non-interlocking Cubes
Made from tough plastic, the non-interlocking cubes will survive constant use in a busy classroom whilst they are simple to clean between uses.
Made from tough plastic, the non-interlocking cubes will survive constant use in a busy classroom whilst they are simple to clean between uses.
The colourful non-interlocking cubes are bound to catch the eye, and will help engage your students in learning. They come in ten bright colours (light green, dark green, orange, purple, white, black, brown, yellow, red, and blue) and four colours (blue, red, green, and yellow).
The non-interlocking wooden (beige) and plastic (orange) cubes are referred to the MAB units.
MAB is a familiar base ten system, the structure of which lends itself primarily to teaching place value, but its applications are far reaching. Single units can also easily be applied to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number sense, and counting. When used in conjunction with MAB longs, flats and cubes, these MAB units are a key component of engaging base ten block assessments.
The non-interlocking cubes come as group sets to meet the needs or a small team or independent learning, and class sets to meet the needs of a classroom. The group and class sets are packed in a sturdy Gratnells tray for easy and neat storage.
