Feathers, fur or leaves? card pack is an ideal resource to learn about living things. 

Identify and classify

Feathers, fur or leaves? card pack can be used to identify and classify the pictures either as plants or animals. The cards come labelled with its name and size. It includes images of living things such as ant, tree, crab, dragonfly, and more.

Students can work in groups or pairs to discuss what features help them identify the plant or the animal. Is it the number of legs, colour, or its skin? Students can also discuss regarding other species of the animal and plant. 

What Am I?

Use the cards to choose the animal or plant. Describe the features of the animal or the plant. For instance, 'I lay eggs. What am I?' The other students in the group will need to guess the answer and the student to guess the animal correctly will be the person to pick another card.
