The Decoding Phonics Blox™ is an engaging way for children to learn reading and spelling simple digraphs.

The Decoding Phonics Blox™ includes 30 activity cards and 69 phonics blox. This set introduces the next 18 letter sounds and decoding with the first 44 sounds. The phonics blox twist to change the sound, supporting phonics relationships.

To complete the activities, children will need to follow the activity cards to spell words using the blox. The cards also come with images and phonics list to aid children's learning. Whilst completing the activities, children will develop decoding skills, thus, learning how to read and spell simple diagraphs and words.

Beyond learning literacy

This letter sounds activities help children stay up the scratch with the literacy curriculum. The decoding acivitites can be completed alone or in pairs. Learning in pairs, build teamwork and communication while independent learning allows a child to explore the best way to absorb knowledge.
