Play Learning Rules
To play the conversation card game:
- Shuffle the cards
- Create a puppy pile by placing the cards with the deck facing down
- Players take turns to draw cards from the puppy pile
- Place the drawn cards to make a discard cards pile
- If you draw a green conversation card, you must answer one of the two questions on the card. The bottom questions are designed for younger children
- If you draw a purple buddy card, ask one of the questions on the card to another player
- If you draw a character card, place it facing up so everyone can see them
- If you draw an action card, you can 'steal' cards from other players. Once played, all action cards go into the discard pile

- fetch two cards - you can either draw two piles from puppy pile or take one from the puppy pile and steal a character card from another player
- pilfer a pooch - you can steal one charater card from any other player. You can bank this card and play it any time in the game, but you can only play it once. It cannot be stolen from you
- rescue raff - you can choose another player to receive an extra card from the puppy pile
- bath time - you miss a turn
- The first player to collect the four dog characters wins
