These bubble boards are the ideal mathematical resource for a student learning addition.

Simple concept 

On each bubble board the addends of one to ten are represented on vertical and horizontal axes, with the product in the corresponding bubble. 

Ideal in the classroom 

The bubble boards are a tactile tool, made of durable materials suitable for frequent use by young children. 

Students could use two ten-sided die to generate equations, mapping these onto the bubble boards to reveal the answer and pop the number. Alternatively, the boards could be adapted to create more complex subtraction scenarios. For example, by working backwards from a chosen bubble on a board, and subtracting the corresponding number on the row axis, the product will be the corresponding number on the column axis.
