SThe 2D/3D Shapes Kit holds three kinds of geometrically shaped resources and a sketching template of primary shapes. This is a hands-on learning kit that that will transform geometry from your child’s subject to their next hobby.

Folding Plastic Geometric Solids - Set of 16

The Geometric Solids Folding Plastic Set includes shapes that can be attached to one another, broken down, and reattached. This exercise encourages students to build their own geometric structures and critically analyse dimensions. This set is perfect for group work in a classroom and can be used as a reference point for language such as ‘vertices’, ‘edges’ and ‘faces’. The set contains:

• 8x 2D nets for cylinder, square pyramid, cube, cuboid, cone, hexagonal prism, and triangular pyramid
• 8x Corresponding transparent 3D Geometric solids for the above shapes. Each shape measures H 75mm

3D Mini Geosolids - Set of 32

The 3D Mini Geosolids are made of a durable plastic and come in four different sizes. This set can be used to practise attribute identification by sorting the pieces by flat vs curved surfaces, faces, and edges. Students can familiarise themselves by sketching 2D and 3D shapes, practising measuring different aspects and comparing/contrasting. These activities are examples of how the 3D Mini Geosolids promote use of mathematical and reasoning language. The set includes:

• 4x Cubes
• 4x Hexagonal Prisms
• 4x Square Pyramids
• 4x Cylinders
• 4x Triangular Prisms
• 4x Triangular Pyramids
• 4x Rectangular Prisms

The shapes come in four different sizes, ranging from 12.7mm to 44mm

Attribute Blocks Giant - Set of 60

This giant set of attribute blocks is perfect for young children who will benefit from being able to manipulate the blocks with ease. The set includes five shapes, two sizes, two thicknesses and three colours.

Primary Shapes Template

The Primary Shapes Template Set offers a range of shapes in different sizes to sketch and outline. This device will encourage the young artist to think about how shapes are affected by perspective, making this a perfect tool for both maths and creative pursuits. The template includes 5 durable labelled templates:

• Circle
• Triangle
• Rectangle
• Square
• Hexagon

The rectangle (for reference) measures 190mm x 114mm.

All of these come packed in a Gratnells tray for easy transport.

• 3D Mini Geosolids are not suitable for a child under 3 years old
• Geometric solids – folding plastic are not suitable for children under 7 years old
