Description / MAB - Units - Plastic (1000)
MAB units form the singular (‘one place’) component of base ten blocks, a system of mathematical manipulatives that enable students to learn place value. Single units could also easily be applied to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number sense, and counting.
Practical and hard-wearing
Bright orange, easy-to-clean, and made from smooth plastic, these units can withstand constant use in the classroom.
Fine motor skills
Using small manipulatives is the perfect way for children to practise their fine motor skills. Sorting the 1cm cubed units will require dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
A set of 1000 is ideal for the classroom with plenty to share between the students. Single units are an extremely versatile resource: add and subtract units to practise arithmetic, count out even groups, demonstrate fractions and decimals.
