STEM Projects Kit - Year 3
Description / STEM Projects Kit - Year 3
This supplies kit provides your class with everything needed to have fun whilst learning about STEM.
For hands on project ideas, please see STEM projects box for year 3. The STEM project box aligns to the Austrlian Curriculum Science V9.0 and focuses on slowly integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into younger children’s learning.
This box contains one long term project and six short term projects to complete, which require different equipment. Each short-term project is designed to be completed in small groups and details exact instructions that aim to slowly improve understanding of a subject. Alternatively, your whole class could team up to work on the long-term project together. All the equipment is simple to use and will provide your students with a lot of fun when learning the basics of STEM.
Multipurpose equipment
Resources such as the ice cube trays, and soft paint brushes can be repurposed towards subjects such as cooking and woodworking. This means your whole school department can share these multipurpose supplies.
Students who have learning difficulties will really enjoy using these hands-on supplies. Learning visually or physically is a great alternative to traditional book learning and allows students to work at their own speed.
