Five Frame Set
Description / Five Frame Set
Five frames help children develop their number sense, learn how to compose small numbers, and explore patterns. This set includes 20 frames, which will easily cater for engaging group work within the classroom, or for individuals building their confidence with numbers.
Combine to make chains
The frames handily slot together, meaning you can form combinations of 10, 15, etc. This system enables you to adapt your activities to suit the developmental stage of the students.
Colourful and durable
Vibrant colours make the pieces extra fun to use. The frames are provided in bright green and yellow, whilst the counters are red and blue. Made from a durable plastic, the set is designed to last in a busy school environment.
Children will benefit from practically exploring maths concepts, visualising the composition of numbers by physically placing out the counters. Upper primary students could test their understanding of addition, subtraction, place value, and more, using the system of frames.
