This Buzzle Game provides a fun, self-correcting mechanism by which students can learn subtraction facts to 20.
Generally, the game works as follows:
-To start a turn, players must spin the spinner, and move forward according to the number of spaces indicated by the spinner.Â
-Once a player lands on a block, they must solve the subtraction problem indicated on the block.
-The correct answer is indicated underneath each block.
-If the player answers the problem correctly, they can spin the spinner once again.
-If the player answers incorrectly, they will lose a turn.
-The first player to reach the finish line wins.
The rules of the game may be changed depending on the skill level of the students. For example, if a player answers incorrectly, they may be asked to move backward with a certain number of spaces instead of simply losing their turn.
