Ticker tape is a wonderfully versatile resource, especially in the maths classroom. Lengths of tape can be used to measure irregular objects, like round items or parts of the body, or could even be incorporated into learning fractions.

Plenty of colours are supplied, children will be able to choose their favourite to work with. Included are a vibrant purple, blue, green, yellow, red, and pink.

With six rolls of nine colours, all 10m, there’s plenty of tape to go around. Each student will be able to experiment with a variety of lengths and colours. Ideal for supplying whole classes or departments within the school.

Measurement is a key skill covered by the primary curriculum. Unmarked ticker tapes are a useful foundational tool for understanding the relative lengths of items before students move on to learning units. Or they could even be marked with custom units. Suitable for measuring awkward lengths and rounded objects. Alternatively, fold the tapes to show the relationships between various fractions.
