It’s time to get hands-on with time-telling skills! This comprehensive kit includes timers, student clocks, equivalency resources, and useful activity guide. In putting together this kit, we aim to provide you the flexibility to tailor your activities for the lesson’s learning objective.

Student clocks

When learning how to tell time, children will really benefit from a clear visual demonstration of the concepts. The number line and write-on/wipe-off student clocks will enable children to practise reading time like a number line, and exploring the relationship between digital and analogue. The number line demonstration clock is magnetic, ideal for displaying on the whiteboard for the whole class to see.

Timers and stopwatches

So useful for a wealth of maths and science activities. Stopwatches will help to put units of time into perspective for primary learners.

Multiple representation dice

Times are presented in various forms on the six-sided dice. The aim is to match them up to form corresponding sets. Provided in four bright colours, the dice display a time in four forms: Analogue clockface (orange), digital (purple), written form ‘past the hour’ (blue), e.g., quarter past three, and written form (green), e.g., three fifteen.

Activity inspiration

Included in the kit are a colourful set of 50 Time Activity Cards, and a measurement themed Time Saving Ideas booklet. The latter is tailored specifically for use alongside your kit. Each of the 50 cards feature an objective, resources needed, and clearly explained procedure. Helpful diagrams and photos are given alongside.

All materials are packed into a sturdy, Gratnells Jumbo tray with lid. It couldn’t be easier to store the measurement materials safely and neatly at the end of the lesson.
