These colourful, durable, interlocking shapes are designed to encourage student engagement in a wide variety of mathematics concepts, including geometry, sequencing, sorting, and classifying using attributes, and problem solving. 

The pieces easily snap together using a clip-hinge unique to the Polydron range, and are supplied in four vibrant colours: red, yellow, green, and blue. With the shapes provided, including a variety of triangles and squares amongst others, students will be able to create 2D nets as well as large 3D geometrics. 

A versatile resource 

With over 400 pieces in nine different shapes supplied, the potential uses for the Maths Set are wide ranging. Equally applicable as a free-play resource, allowing children to create ambitious structures, or as a tool to complement guided learning. 

The set comes complete with an Exploring Polydron Booklet packed full of ideas on how to utilise Polydron in the classroom. Depending on the developmental stage of the students, these simple shapes can be used to practise foundational concepts such as sorting, by applying basic attributes of colour and shape, right through to the planning, construction, and evaluation of complex 3D solids.
