In this set of games, granite stones have been replaced by ball bearing curling stones. Curlers will need to judge the amount of force given to a stone in order to make it land on a particular target. Skilled curlers will be able to knock their opponents' curling stone off one spot and onto one of lesser value.

The boards have been designed to test the ‘skill’ of the curlers and develop maths basic number facts. The set of games consist of 4 playing boards and on the reverse templates for creating simpler or more difficult versions of the games. The ability to modify the boards means that teachers can create boards that suit the varying abilities of children in their classes. Better still children can create their own versions of the game, increasing their engagement.

While these games are primarily targeted at lower/middle primary classes, the themes and the skill associated with rolling the curling stones make these games ideal for upper primary and lower secondary students who lack motivation and who need to practise basic number facts.
