Information regarding COVID-19
At Abacus Educational Suppliers, we are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our community. In addition to those who are directly affected, many more are indirectly dealing with changes in their work, school, and community environments.
Here are some of the ways we are supporting our customers and employees during this difficult time.
Serving our customers
We believe our role of supplying schools, teachers and parents with teaching resources is vital to ensure children’s education can be continued.
Orders & Delivery
We have good stock levels and are still sending out orders daily. There haven’t been any changes to our delivery network and we will retain our $9 Australia-wide shipping flat rate.
Please note that our educational supplies shop in Osborne Park has reopened after the five-day lockdown that was introduced on January 31st 2021 by the State Government of WA.
Please sign in using the SafeWA app before entering or sign the SafeWA register at the till.
We encourage customers to place orders online via our website and choose our $9.00 fixed freight Australia-wide delivery option.
Our ‘Click and Collect’ feature can also be used. 'Click & Collect' hours are Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm.
If you are using this feature, we will contact you as soon as your order is ready to be collected and we will organise a suitable time with you to pick up your order. When you arrive at our premises please call 9445 7133 and we will bring your order out to your car so you don’t need to enter our building.
We are currently working with educational professionals to have a range of take-home resources available for teachers and parents.
Looking after our employees
We have been able to change staff rosters to comply with social distancing requirements outlined by the government.
We have added more hand sanitizers around the shop and warehouse and have closed our premises to the public in order to keep our staff safe during these times.
All delivery drivers attending our premises are only allowed access to our delivery dock in order to avoid contact with our staff and must wear a face mask.
